Galaxy Note 7 Will be Back on Store as Refurbished Phone


Samsung confirms that They will sell refurbished Note 7, after its huge battery failure and the biggest recall in the history of modern smartphone that occurred last year. Previous report said that Samsung was given up on fixing the Note 7 after 3 times of recalling and bunch of weird software updates like limits the battery on just up to 60% in some region.

But more than 4 millions of Note 7 has to go somewhere, and dumping them could cause a huge environmental problems. And that is why, Samsung will resell a refurbish Note 7 with smaller battery in order to keep it safe.

Not all of the Note 7 will be back on the store, thought. Some of them has gone through recycling process, including the salvage of motherboard, camera module and other useable hardware. And refurbish Note 7 will likely go to emerging market, like India and Myanmar, and possibly Indonesia. This is good news, considering that the Note 7 will have a lower price tag than usual . But we'll have to see.
